This week we cover BTC Prague—the world’s favourite Bitcoin-only conference! The Czech Republic, and its capital, Prague, have deep roots in the Bitcoin scene, shaped by a hardcore cypherpunk community that helped lay the foundations of critical Bitcoin infrastructure. With its history of totalitarian regimes, Czech Republic has cultivated a deep skepticism toward authority, one reason why Czech Bitcoiners are known for being principled, intellectually grounded, and fiercely pro-freedom. Prague is home to Slush Pool, the world’s first Bitcoin mining pool, Trezor, the first hardware wallet, and General Bytes, the largest Bitcoin ATM manufacturer in the world—just to name a few.
If you didn’t attend, this should give you a taste of what you missed but be sure, this report does not do it justice! BTC Prague was absolutely epic, featuring over 200 speakers, 100 Bitcoin companies, and 10,000 attendees! Unlike other conferences that include crypto, trading, and hype-driven announcements, BTC Prague is pure Bitcoin signal—focused on building, networking, and freedom.
